I paid $89.99 to get this so called company to tell me word for word what i told them my issue is. Now they said i need to pay them $1200 to get what fix? They never said, nor tried to repair it. Don't give them your hard earn money. They are scammers, doing a time where money is hard to come.
First they jacked up the price by $250 dollars the day before the appointment, after I had already got a quote and scheduled it. Then the mechanic complained about having to come in early over text and then cancelled on me the day of and I still got charged $30.

My experience with YourMechanic was terrific and I will use their services going forward. The fact that I can stay at work while my car is being serviced is a game changer! I will not miss the 45 minute drive to my dealership or the two hour wait a visit with them usually involves.
My battery light came on and soon my car wouldn't start at all. I didn't want to pay to have it towed somewhere, so I found yourmechanic on google. I needed a new alternator. The mechanic was great. I felt bad because it took way longer to change my alternator than expected. He got the car jumped and it wouldn't stay on due to it not having oil. I put oil in and it fired up and worked fine....... for about a month. Almost exactly a month to the day, battery light comes on the dashboard and I can't get it started. I went back on their website and filed a warranty claim. And I recieved an email saying I can make an appointment for a 50 point inspection......for $79.99. This is where my frustration comes in. Why would I pay $600 to get a alternator replaced, just to turn around and pay $80 for you to inspect it and lord only knows how much to repair it??? This is crazy. My car should be working fine or at least send a mechanic to make sure the work was done correctly the first time, free of charge.
He (the mechanic) seemed to have gotten to the root of the problem. The price wasn't bad.
Very convenient. From my experience, no issues, hassles or delays. Mechanic is knowledgeable and diligent. About to move so eager to see what the future holds with yourmechanic.com
This company is a total scam. I schedule d an appointment to get a high level scan to see what is wrong with my car. The "machanic" Pedro showed up opened the hood and turned tbe igintion key. Thats it. That is all. He said the battery was dead and he cant work on it. I had a fully charfed battery i offered to put in he refused. He didnt try to jump start he did nothing. Then he canceled my appointnent and charged me the fee. Total scam.
Canceled hour before set time. Wanted to reschedule a week later. I waited a week for the appointment. Very poor customer service. STAY AWAY.
The mechanic was extremely professional and very knowledgeable prompt communicated greatly, I would highly recommend Anthony was my mechanic.
Love this service! It's so convenient having YourMechanic come to your house and have all the services completed at home. Nolan performed top quality work on my BMW SUV.
Excellent professional service. Raymond was wonderful. He really knows what he is doing!!!
Good advice and car is running good as he told me so. I’m happy with the work he did
We booked a appointment with Your Mechanic (electrical problem) for today (5/11/21)@ 11:45am. At 12:45 Reginald Barry called to say he would be out but was stuck on a job. Ok that happens and we were fine with that, but when it got to be 4pm and still no call from the mechanic I called the customer service at 4:03pm asking where the mechanic was and that we had not heard from him since 12:45 stating he would be out. They send a email to the mechanic and phoned him. They returned my call telling us he would be out in an hour. Still no show or call and it was coming up to 6. When I called the customer service at 5:50pm there customer service is not available after 5pm. I called the mechanic at 6pm and I asked him why he did not come or at least keep us updated, claimed he had a customer that needed their car to get to work. I informed him I took a day off work for this appointment, he seemed indifferent, did not offer an apology nor seemed to care about our appointment. Very unprofessional. There is no customer service if their mechanics don't show they have no one to contact after hours. I tried to post this with NO stars, but had to give them 1. I'll see if they try to charge my card for a no show. I will be contacting my bank in the morning to keep them from charging me. It is now 9:45pm and it still shows he is on the way, what a joke.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I wanted to replace the starter in 2008 corvette and was quoted $139.19 for labor and $190.12 for part. I agreed on the labor charge and to provide the starter myself. The next morning, 6 hours before appointment the mechanic sent me a message and wanted $347.97 for labor and said since I provided the part they would void the warranty (warrant for what? I bought the part so I would be on my own. Nobody warrants the labor). I denied the service of course and told them do not come. No harm was done. Just be careful with their quote.
